To show the people of the Western Cape that they were behind South Africa's Olympians, the minister of Cultural Affairs and Sport commissioned Provantage to run a celebratory campaign.

The aim was to show the Western Cape that they were behind the Olympians and also demonstrate the benefits of a programme run for previously disadvantage scholars.

The department runs a CSI program where skilled sporting professionals and students provide training and coaching to previously disadvantaged scholars in the province. The programme provides life-changing opportunities to children while keeping them off the streets, giving them purpose and promoting a healthy lifestyle.

The Provantage campaign allowed these children, within the various disciplines, to showcase what they had learnt. The disciplines were cadets, gymnastics, dancing and singing. Children in a band also showed their skills. Various sponsors assisted on the day, including Sprite and Coca-Cola who sponsored the gig rig and Virgin Active who provided an energetic interactive Zoomba display.
