Rose Sindane, the conference organiser, was thrilled that The Constantia Hotel rose to the occasion to assist with their very first community conference by sponsoring crockery and food items aimed at the local men of the area who were encouraged and edified to stand up as contributors and leaders in their community.

The conference itself was very proactive with the agenda asking the community to contribute by expressing their views, opinions, identifying problems in the community as well as offering possible solutions to the problems of crime and violence as well as the lack of Ubuntu. At the end of the conference, the local community was inspired and had some positive solutions to see change in their communities within the area.
