SACOB to give away 67 busaries in 67 minutes for Mandela Day

Published: 16 July 2012

In the spirit of celebrating the life of a man who dedicated 67 years to changing the lives of so many, the South African College of Business (SACOB) is paying it forward on Mandela Day by giving away 67 bursaries in 67 minutes for their ICB Online Classroom courses.

SACOB is giving away a total of 6 bursaries for each ICB Accounting Programme course, while the remaining bursary will being offered across all ICB Accounting Programme courses at the discretion of the college. The bursary includes all study material and full access to The Online Classroom, but excludes the ICB Registration and assessment fees.

As part of their bursary obligations recipients must agree to provide SACOB with 3 referrals for prospective students. In addition to this, they are required to participate in the online forums, post questions in the Student Support Centre and follow SACOB via its social media platforms – Facebook and Twitter. It is also imperative that the student has a PC and access to the Internet.

In the words of Nelson Mandela, everyone can change the world and make it a better place. It is in everyone's hands to make a difference. And it’s precisely this maxim that compelled SACOB to initiate the 67 Bursary Campaign. By providing these 67 individuals with an opportunity for learning and growth, SACOB hope’s that they too will be inspired to make the world a better place.

To apply, simply click on the ‘67 Bursary Banner’ on SACOB’s website, www.sacob.com between 09:00 and 10:07 on 18 July and stand the chance of winning a bursary for one of the ICB Accounting Certification Programme online courses that start on 13 August.
