Despite the economic conditions, Livewired PR is growing

Published: 2 July 2012

In spite of difficult economic conditions that have had an adverse effect on the PR industry, Livewired PR continues to experience growth.

Janine Lloyd, managing director of Livewired PR, a member of the ForeBrands Integrated Marketing Communications Group, reveals that the Livewired PR team has acquired some of South Africa’s best PR professionals, taking its service team complement to nine. This excludes freelance writers and non-PR personnel such as finance, admin, IT and HR.

This growth is mirrored by the ForeBrands IMC team who has grown from 20 to 45 employees. She points out that this is a major achievement, particularly in view of the fact that many companies have been forced to close their doors as a result of continued economic pressure.

Lloyd attributes Livewired PR’s success to a focused strategy of working on great companies and brands, which has attracted an exceptional level of employee, adding digital services to its campaigns, and growing its business-to-business client base.

She explains that the Livewired approach is an integrated one, with the team immersing itself in the client’s communication challenges. “This ensures that our PR solutions complement the entire marketing mix, which in turn amplifies awareness, achieves higher impact and delivers exponential return.”

With this strategy Livewired PR is geared to provide its signature excellent service to a growing number of clients. “We look forward to continuing on our path to success,” Lloyd concludes.
