DStv Care More offers DStv subscribers the chance to participate in community development by nominating their favourite community project to receive much needed assistance. Ayanda Khubeka from Winchester Hills was the DStv subscriber who nominated the centre. She is also the centre manager, “It is exciting to know that through these funds we will meet our needs and reach out to more people than before”.

The assistance package from DStv will include the renovation of the ballet studio, supplies for the art studio as well as equipment and repairs for the playground.

Another round of DStv Care More will run from 25 June to 23 July. Subscribers will once again be able to nominate a community project of their choice to receive an assistance package to the value of R200 000 via SMS, website or using entry forms at MultiChoice customer service branches.

Subscribers can SMS the word ‘CARE’ and the name of the community project they wish to nominate to 32512 during this time.
