Lynne Smit, co-owner of Hippo Communications since 2011, is an acknowledged expert in the field of social media. Lynne also mentors science journalists across Africa for the World Federation of Science Journalists, is Secretary of the South African Science Journalists’ Association (Sasja) and on the Western Cape committee of the South African Freelancers Association (Safrea).
