Sabio Communications acquires Tiger Brands’ Morvite

Published: 7 May 2012

Sabio Communications has welcomed the Morvite Account to its FMCG stable. The company started PR on the brand in late 2011. Morvite Cereal is part of Tiger Brands, which is listed on the JSE and consists of fast moving consumer goods that add value to the lives of consumers.

Within the Morvite range there is something for the entire family to choose from. The range consists of Morvite Original as well as Morvite Choice. It is also filling, affordable and convenient as it requires no cooking. It is made from 100% pure sorghum/Mabele and is enriched with the important vitamins and minerals that growing bodies and minds require. It is formulated to meet the dietary requirements of school children and it can be prepared as instant breakfast porridge or an energy drink with milk or water. “Morvite is excited to be associated with Sabio Communications in taking the brand to new heights and reach our target market differently to what we have done in the past,” says Bernard Jansen, senior brand manager for Morvite.

Sabio Communications is a public relations and media consultancy company that offers its client the opportunity to establish a targeted range of marketing channels. Sabio Communications delivers a full range of PR and marketing services. Morvite will join other FMCG icons which have been serviced by Sabio Communications such as Frisco, Lucozade, Huggies, and Kleenex.

“Sabio Communications is happy to have acquired the account and intends to carry out the Morvite PR campaign by indicating the relevance of the product to the public and by engaging with consumers on a functional and emotional platform,” says Litha Sabio, managing director at Sabio Communications.
