Grade 2 learner, Tumelo Masikela of Kimberley's Flamingo Primary School, has been voted Jet Club magazine’s special star of the month. Masikela dreams of being a traffic cop one day, he can’t stand seeing school children dying every day from road accidents.

If his dream comes true he would like to make sure that there are people standing at every four-way stop to help school children cross the road. Tumelo has won a special medal, a R500 Jet shopping voucher for himself as well as R1 000 in library books for his school.
