The response from visitors and exhibitors alike, to the début Look & Feel Good Expo
in Johannesburg has encouraged the organisers, BizEvents, to extend the expo to Cape Town this year.
Exhibitors praised the 2009 expo for being 'entertaining'; 'action-packed' and 'interesting', and for its professional organisation.
The brand manager for Boost Juice in South Africa, Mellischa Rautenbach, said: “Boost gained a lot of exposure, and if anyone was unsure about our offering, they certainly took note at the expo!”
Judith Gordon-Drake of LifeLine Johannesburg also related the benefits of being associated with a 'feel-good' expo: “We promote and facilitate emotional wellness, and we felt that this show was exactly where we should be. We thought that the show marketing and communication were exceptional.”
“There is a definitely a groundswell of people realising the value of healthy, wholesome living and we are delighted that major sponsors have also realised the value of being attached to an expo of this nature,” says BizEvents Managing Director, Heidi Warricker.
“We hope to attract even more exhibitors and visitors to both events, which are a modern; innovative; and interactive showcase of the latest wellness and lifestyle trends. Exhibitors can reap immense benefits from our extensive targeted marketing campaign, the vibrant show attractions, as well as from having valuable one-on-one contact with visitors to the shows. With a captive audience of motivated South Africans seeking new ways to live a healthy and happy lifestyle, it is a great space in which to position lifestyle brands,” she says.
